Guggenheim fellows 2009 announced

In its 85th year of awarding fellowships, the Guggenheim Foundation just announced the 2009 winners — 180 fellows from more than 3,000 applicants.  Here’s the full list.  Thanks to Culture Monster for the tip.

I scrolled through the list and pulled up the names of winners in Creative Arts/Fine Arts:  Most names are not familiar but I’ve highlighted some I’m familiar with.
