And I love how ambitious Sarah is...wanting PPAC to be like the ICP. That's the kind of thinking that will help Philly's art scene move on up. It's risky to want to shoot for the top, but right now I see a lot of risk-taking in the collective scene and that's very encouraging. If we could get some institutional support (money, but public statements, too, about Philadelphia's art scene and all the great energy and art-making) that would help. It feels like nobody's covering this but artblog and I wish we weren't beating the drum alone. I am very excited for this too. And I love how ambitious Sarah is…wanting PPAC to be like the ICP.
