Ron Klein’s New York show “Forces of Nature”–of his swooping lianas and swirls of pods from a tropical rainforest–got a swell, if slightly erroneous writeup at artinfo.com.
Ron wrote:
“Well, first they got the prices wrong in that blurb = the smaller ones are 3500…but i did sell a big piece on opening night!!!!!!! to a collector. There is another opening this Thursday night…things have been exciting!”

On another tropical note, painter Frank Hyder has an opening in New York for his exhibit, Poet of a Threatened Eden, at Walter Wickiser Gallery on Saturday, Sept. 30, 6 – 8 p.m.
