I saw these semaphore-like images painted on a couple of streets in deep South Philadelphia, today. These were on Jackson Street, between 4th and 5th. I saw the same things on 5th between Oregon and Shunk. At first I thought they were art. But now I think maybe they had something to do with the Mummer’s parade. But I still think they’re art. They really pop up!
