Brian Wallace is Curator and Academic Liaison for Art and Artifacts at Bryn Mawr College. That means he puts together exhibits for the college’s gallery in the Canaday Library. He is also in charge of the college’s large and important collection of art and artifacts. Brian was Director of the Galleries at Moore College of Art and Design from 2003-2006, where he brought in some great shows. Prior to arriving back in the Philly area, he was Curator of the Dorsky Museum at SUNY, New Paltz in upstate New York. Brian’s first exhibit at the college was Docu-Commencement, which closed Dec. 14. For that show he commissioned four artists to create new works on the theme of college graduation. More about Brian here. Below is a short clip from our interview. Come back next week for the full podcast.
