A three-panel, black and white comic titled 3:00 or three o’clock in the afternoon, shows two women, Annoying Girl and Beth, walking down a sidewalk in Philadelphia, with Annoying Girl looking at images of French protesters on her phone and commenting how cool they looked compared to American protesters and wondering why that is and Beth comments, in French, that she doesn’t know, which is also a reference to the “je ne said quoi” that people say to mean “that certain something that you can’t quite put your finger on.”
