This May, director and choreographer Reggie Wilson is blessing Philadelphia with a series of performances and panel discussions that use contemporary dance to explore the space where worship and movement meet in African American spiritual practice. Wit spoke with Arielle Julia Brown, the production’s dramaturge, and Lela Aisha Jones, one of the eight choreographers, to learn more about the project. This 30 minute, laughter-laden episode was recorded on Friday, April 26, 2019.
