Our friend Barry Hoggard, aka Bloggy, put up a protest post, in which he cleverly republished the images!!! Way to go Bloggy.
I want to add my voice to the protest and state that the circumstances of the image being taken and the use of the image suggest this was a fair use, not in violation of the gallery’s copyright. Furthermore, the gallery is losing sight of the benefits it gains from the promotion value. Finally, I’m not linking to that mean old gallery.
