Internationally acclaimed Taiwanese artist Long-Bin Chen is known for his large-scale sculptures comprised of discarded paper publications. Upon carving paper items such as out-of-date phone books, the concepts of recycling and repurposing become central components of his work. Chen’s sculptures function as a commentary on consumerist tendencies, while attempting to converge Eastern and Western Cultures.
