DesignPhiladelphia, the oldest design event of its kind, brings together over 150 partners each year to provide a wide range of programing to those with interests in design, technology and collaborative business practices.
From October 8-16, 2015, universities, cultural institutions, city agencies, retailers, manufacturers and startups across the region will participate in more than 130 events on topics spanning across all design disciplines.
The theme of this year’s DesignPhiladelphia, hosted by the Philadelphia Center for Architecture, is SHIFT. We are thrilled to be a part of an event that gets its inspiration from the rapidly changing Philadelphia skyline and urban landscape.
Surface Imaging is a new emerging discipline that allows designers to develop imagery for various physical forms using the latest digital printing technologies. Surface Imaging explores direct imaging on diverse porous and non-porous substrates as well as fabrication printing–including material deposition and subtraction printing technologies.
The Surface Imaging Symposium will feature a selection of speakers from the Surface Imaging and Digital Printing industry. A networking reception and tour of the Center for Excellence in Surface Imaging will follow.
Spend time networking and get inspired by design professionals, faculty and students. For more information and to sign up:
