Join us for our next Art Safari on Saturday, October 15, 2016, 2PM – 5PM! We will begin at Fleisher Art Memorial and DaVinci Art Alliance, both on Catharine Street, and then promenade to Paradigm Gallery, in the heart of Fabric Row, taking in the art and history of the area along the way.
Here’s What’s On Tap:
Wind Challenge #1 at Fleisher Art Memorial — featuring work by Amber Johnston (video and photography), Michelle Marcuse (sculpture), and Brian Richmond (painting).
Da Vinci Art Alliance — featuring a group show, “Six,” with large works from photographers Scott Weingarten and Jack Ramsdale, painters Barbara Sosson, Rachel Citrino, Brad Carmichael, and digital painter Carolyn Louise Newhouse.
Break for coffee at Shot Tower Coffee
Jed Williams Gallery – currently showing “We Are Here Now,” with works by TJ Walsh, Ethan Dahl, and Damon McCloskey, curated by Brian James Spies.
Paradigm Gallery and Studio, 4th St. right in the heart of Fabric Row — featuring “Believers,” a series of oil on canvas paintings by PAFA graduate Katherine Fraser. Fraser’s figures seem to be involved in dramatic narratives only hinted at by their darkly surreal setting.
Brickbat Books – Hungry for more? Let’s mosey on over to the independent bookshop known for an excellent selection of fine art and photography books.
