Wit has a chat with Canadian artists Allyson Mitchell and Deirdre Logue about their “sex-positive, trans-affirming, queer lesbian-feminist-fear-fighting” project entitled “Killjoy’s Kastle: A Lesbian Feminist Haunted House.” The pair explain the meaning behind the immersive performance and visual art experience, and share how they brought together the work of their individual practices in the arts and social justice to inform all of the project’s components. The haunted house will be free and open to the public at the Icebox Project Space (1400 N. American Street) from October 16-27 at varying times. Visit the Icebox Project Space’s website to learn more about the project.
