Donate your art for our fundraiser auction!
Artists, we love you. You know this. We welcome you to donate a piece of your art for the auction! This will be an in-person event at Moore College of Art and Design, and we know it’s going to be a blast – with a beautiful exhibition of works by you and other local artists.
We are looking for art in all price ranges from $100 to $1,000+. Please consider donating to the auction in this critical year post-pandemic, in which we build Artblog for the future. Donate more than one piece if you wish (two pieces max)! HERE’S THE LINK to the Google form for donations. PLEASE, fill out the form BY AUGUST 25 so we have time to put your info into our online pre-sale and the auction catalog! As with last year, we are providing a 25% giveback of the sale price of the donated art to the artist, as a gesture of our thanks for your support.
Many of you reading these words have donated before and we are so humbled and grateful for your support. Please consider donating again this year. And, whether you’ve donated to our fundraiser before or you’re donating for the first time, we welcome your art! And thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Volunteer!
There are other ways you can participate. Of course, the first way is to save the date — September 7 — and show up! We would love to see you there. And you can really help out by purchasing a piece of art by a local artist. Your purchase supports Artblog and the artist – double joy!
If you want to volunteer, we would love your help for the event itself and beforehand.
Volunteer to help at the event, from greeting people to helping them with bid sheets and other assistance that night. If that’s you, here’s how to become an Artblog Volunteer. Email editor@theartblog.org and put “Volunteer” in the subject line. And we will shower you with thanks and welcome you into the Artblog family.
GOAL
Artblog’s goal for the 2022 auction is to raise $10,000. With your help we will get there! We need funding to support our staff and writers and to begin these important projects:
Archive our 20 years of digital content
Restart Artblog Radio, our beloved podcast series
Fine tune Artblog’s search engine and other tech advances
