Artblog three-fer, a poster, and two articles for you

Sometimes you have to toot your own horn. Today is the day! Artblog has a poster project and we want to share it with you. Also, Roberta was featured twice on Philadelphia Citizen recently. Links abound in this short sweet PSA-for-Artblog news post!

ARTBLOG NEWS

A color poster includes a comic of a person sick on the subway and later sick in bed, positive for Covid.
Poster by Derick Jones, author of “Nose Bleed” on Artblog!

Artblog Poster Giveaway
We have a poster for you! It’s a nice, 12″ x 18″ color poster designed by Derick Jones as part of Artblog’s partnership with WHYY and it’s “Boost Truth” initiative to educate about Covid.

We will be handing these posters out around town and have earmarked some for you to pick up at Cultureworks, 1315 Walnut St., 3rd Floor. Ryan and I are there on Thursdays. Stop on by, say “hi,” and get a poster (or two).

Look for a feature story on the poster’s creator, Derick Jones, who I interviewed recently. He’s got a great comics story and a great story about balancing his private practice and his commissioned work. Upcoming soon!

Roberta is interviewed in the Philadelphia Citizen
I was so delighted to be interviewed by Logan Cryer as part of the Forman Arts Initiative Story series Art for Change on Philadelphia Citizen. Check out this series of interviews, of people like Phoebe Bachman, Odili Donald Odita, Pap Souleye Fall, Cesar Viveros, and many more.

More Roberta, about University of the Arts
And I was delighted to be asked by the Philadelphia Citizen to write a piece about University of the Arts. In case you missed it, here it is at the Citizen. (I also published it on Artblog.)
