Ephraim Russell is a visual artist, curator and educator based in Philadelphia. He earned his BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and his MFA in Sculpture from Tyler School of Art. His sculptures and installations explore our psychological and physiological connections to utilitarian objects, manipulating the aesthetics of function and rearranging the cultural assumptions that define our relationship with the objects we surround ourselves with.
