Friend of Artblog Bruce Hoffman, who is director of Gravers Lane Gallery, wrote to say the gallery was organizing a special program and poetry event, Saturday, May 7, 1PM-5PM, honoring slain aspiring poet, Tyrone Alexander Tillman. Tillman was a high school student and active in the Philadelphia Youth Poetry movement. Gallery artist, Rachel Bliss, has a connection with the youth and facilitated the event in conjunction with her exhibit at the gallery in May.
