Al Mudhif is a “a traditional Iraqi ceremonial structure made entirely out of phragmites reed.” With the $15,000 Added Velocity award, collaborators Yaroub Al Obaidi and Sarah Kavage will dismantle and document the structure after damage from Hurricane Ida.
